Seaweed Says Relax

While we may not be Frankie, we still have some great tips to reduce the stress and say RELAX. What’s one of our secrets? Baths! (Shocking, we know). Time is precious and it’s easy to get caught up in the craziness of our everyday lives. In honor of National Relaxation Day, here are a few of our favorite tips to relax and minimize stress.

Tip 1: Draw a Warm Bath

We all need a little alone time now and then, and baths are great way to treat yourself and your skin. Our Hydrating Seaweed Bath provides the perfect spa experience without leaving your home. Just close our eyes and imagine we are near the ocean. Adding aromatherapy, such as lavender, will help relax you mind and your senses while your body soaks.

Tip 2: Walk it Out

Taking walks is not only healthy for your body, but also for your mind. Studies have shown that taking a 20-minute mid-day walk can help reduce tension and stress throughout your day. Give yourself some alone time and take a stroll during those crazy work days.

Tip 3: Hydrate, Meditate, Repeat

It’s easy to forget to take time for yourself. After a long day, find a quiet place to close your eyes, meditate and relax. You deserve some piece and quiet. Also, don’t forget to drink your water throughout the day. Studies have shown that dehydration increases the levels of cortisol, the stress hormone, so it’s important to stay hydrated.

Chelsea

Walking and hiking is my favorite way to relax! Just being outside and away from the noise of everything in itself is relaxing :)

A great reminder for all of us is to do more self care!
