Allison And Adam Grossman Founder. The Seaweed Bath Co.

Below is the first of what we expect will be a series ofMeet the Team blog posts that gives us the opportunity to introduce you to the staff and team members who make The Seaweed Bath Co. so special.

Today we’re featuring Allison Grossman, our co-founder and marketing director. Allison handles all aspects of the creative side of the business. That includes all of our labels, advertisements, promotions, social media, trade show and in-store marketing, as well as community outreach.

Meet Allison:

The Seaweed Bath Co.: What did you do prior to coming to work for The Seaweed Bath Co (TSBC)?

Allison Grossman: I was a creditor’s rights and bankruptcy litigation attorney in Miami, Florida.

TSBC: What attracted you to come to work at TSBC?

AG: My husband, Adam, and I founded The Seaweed Bath Co., and we had the idea that we could really help people who suffer from difficult skin conditions like psoriasis and eczema. I love the product line and I love what I do.

TSBC: Where did you go to college and what did you study as an undergrad?

AG: I went to the University of Texas where I majored in communications. I also went to the University of Texas for law school.

TSBC: If you were elected President tomorrow, what would be your first Executive Order?

AG: The first thing I’d do is support legislation to increase funding for education. That’s just so important for today’s children and for our nation as a whole in the future.

SBC: If you could take a two-week vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go, why would you go there, and who would you take with you?

AG: I would backpack through Asia because I have always wanted to go there. And it goes without saying that I would take my husband, Adam.

TSBC: What is your favorite Seaweed Bath Co. product and why?

AG: I love the shampoos and conditioners because they detangle my curls and make my hair soft and shiny.

TSBC: What else is there that we should know about?

AG: Well, I’m almost nine months pregnant, and Adam and I are expecting a baby girl in January 2012.
