Splash in the surf. This non-greasy hybrid formula combines UV-reflective zinc oxide and UV-absorbing sunscreen actives for blendable, sheer protection.

How to Use
Reapply: After 80 minutes of swimming or sweating; Immediately after towel drying; At least every two hours.
Limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

This is the sunscreen I've been waiting for. I'm always hesitant about sunscreens that have any kind of mineral-based ingredients to them; they leave me with a terrible white cast, and they look terrible on my skin as I reapply sunscreen throughout the day (I generally reapply two or three times a day, depending on my level of outdoor activities). I've even tried other hybrid sunscreens before hoping to get the best of both worlds, but I've always been left disappointed by them. I saw this particular sunscreen on sale at Whole Foods recently, and after loving other Seaweed Bath Co. products before, I decided I'd go ahead and give it a whirl. Not only does this sunscreen feel great on the skin, but it applies nicely, it leaves NO white cast after application, and there is no terrible build-up of residue on my skin as I reapply throughout the day. Better yet, whereas the sunscreen I had been using prior to this one was more money for less volume, this product has a great price point for a whopping 3.4 ounces. In the end, this is a wonderful sunscreen that packs a huge value. BUY IT!

This is the best sunscreen I have found that has mineral plus chemical sunscreen protection. I live in HI so sunscreen is a must and especially one that works well. Only complaint is I wish shipping was free if you purchased a certain amount. The two retailers that sold this locally stopped carrying the sport 50 spf.

I was a bit nervous about putting this sunscreen on my face. Most chemical sunscreens, and I have tried many, are too irritating for my facial skin. After trying it on my hands and arms, and liking it, the next day I tried it on my face. It went on after washing with a mild non-soap facial cleanser, applying a gentle hyaluronic acid gel & letting it dry, applying a gentle antioxidant serum & letting it dry, and lastly, applying 'Rosacare' HydroGel & letting it dry. Stayed away from eyes and mouth. Used a tinted mineral-only eye sunscreen around the eyes and Vanicream lip protectant/Sunscreen on the lips. I wear a light coverage creamy powder foundation and it went on beautifully over all those layers. Letting each layer dry is key. I do not wear full-coverage cream or liquid foundations so cannot review the sunscreen's performance with them.
