How to Make a Seaweed Wrap at Home

Luxurious seaweed wraps have gained popularity in recent years, especially at some of the finest spas around the world. While these treatments can be highly effective, making the time and spending the money to experience the treatment may not be attainable. Creating the same treatment at home can be lot easier and less expensive than you think (soft music, white robes and candles are optional).

The Amazing Benefits of Seaweed

  • Detoxifies - Helps to eliminate toxins and impurities from your body
  • Removes Dead Skin and Moisturizes - Chock-full of essential vitamins, minerals, and nutrients, the seaweed moisturizes and strengthens skin while removing dead skin follicles in the process
  • Improves Skin Elasticity and Regeneration - Containing antioxidants, essential fatty acids and vitamin A, seaweed wraps can aid in the rebuilding the elasticity of skin
  • Reduces Cellulite and Improves Body Contouring - Seaweed helps in shaping excess skin as well as reducing undesirable cellulite marks

Items Your Will Need to Make the Wrap

You will need the following items:

Using our Whole Seaweed Detox Bath:

Step 1
Empty contents of a Whole Seaweed Bath bag in a bowl of hot or very warm water (being careful not to burn yourself) and allow to soak for 5-10 minutes.

Step 2
Lay a large piece of plastic wrap into your bathtub or on another waterproof/protected surface in place.

Step 3
Sit down and place the warm, wet seaweed on your body. Wrap the plastic around your body to keep the seaweed in place.

Step 4
Relax for 15-30 minutes.

Step 5
Remove the seaweed and plastic wrap and rinse your skin.

Using our Hydrating Seaweed Bath powder:

Step 1
In a bowl, mix half of a can of Hydrating Seaweed Bath with adding a little water at a time and stirring until  a thick paste forms. If it is too thick, add more water. If it is too runny, add more seaweed powder.

Step 2
Lay a large piece of plastic wrap into your bathtub or on another waterproof/protected surface.

Step 3
Apply the seaweed paste to your body and wrap the plastic around your body.

Step 4
Relax for 15-30 minutes.

Step 5
Remove the seaweed and plastic wrap and rinse your skin.
