We are extremely lucky to have so many amazing and unique stores carrying our products across the country. We decided to create a new series on our blog where we can highlight some of our favorite retailers and share what makes them so special.

We are kicking off our Retailer Spotlight series with New Seasons Market in the Sellwood neighborhood of Portland, Oregon. We asked New Seasons Sellwood's resident body care specialist, Amber, to answer a few questions about her store and her community. 

SBC: Tell us a little bit about your store.

Amber: Our jam-packed store is just like the Elvis Presley “#1s” album; all the greatest hits in one tiny rockin’ package. We carry the best-of-the-best in natural. You can also get all the ingredients for a peanut-butter-banana sandwich. Organic too!

SBC: What makes your store unique?

Amber: The minute you walk into the Sellwood New Seasons you are surrounded by the happy, cheerful vibe that permeates our little store. We have a deep connection with our neighborhood, and no one ever wants to leave. Some employees have worked here over 15 years!

SBC: Tell us more about Sellwood

Amber: The Sellwood neighborhood is straight out of a picture-book: Lush trees, beautiful gardens, chickens running around everywhere, and roses, roses, roses spilling over picket fences wherever you turn.

SBC: How long have your carried The Seaweed Bath Co. line?

Amber: Since January of this year.

SBC: What is your favorite Seaweed Bath Co. product?

Amber: We are partial to the Cellulite Soap. Don’t tell anyone. (SBC: We would never do such a thing!!!)
